MCP
Getting started.
Connecting takes a minute. You add the Domus Inventum connection address to your assistant, sign in once, and approve what it may do.
Before you begin
- You need a Domus Inventum account and an AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers.
- Find your connection address and live status under Connections → Connect your AI in your dashboard.
Connect in four steps
- Open your assistant's connector or MCP server settings.
- Add a remote MCP server and paste the Domus Inventum connection address.
- Sign in with your Domus Inventum account when the browser window opens.
- Review the requested permissions and approve. The connection is live immediately.
Platform-specific steps are in AI platforms.
Authentication
Domus Inventum uses OAuth 2.1. Your assistant never receives your password. It receives a token bound to your account, and every request it makes is checked against your account permissions.
Connection status
- Connected — your assistant has used the connection in the last 30 days.
- Connection lost — the connection exists but has not been used recently, or the authorisation expired. Reconnect from your assistant.
- Not connected — no assistant has been connected to this account yet.
Managing and revoking
Remove the Domus Inventum connector in your assistant to end the connection. You can reconnect at any time. Domus Inventum may also revoke access for an account where the connection is used in a way that conflicts with our terms — if that happens, the Connections page will say so.
Troubleshooting
- Sign-in window closes without connecting — allow pop-ups for your assistant and try again.
- Assistant cannot see the tools — start a new chat, or refresh or reload the connector; assistants cache the tool list.
- A listing cannot be found — paste the full public property address; the connection resolves canonical Domus Inventum URLs.
- Requests start failing — you may have hit a rate limit. Wait a minute and retry.
