Domus Inventum MCP is now live: bringing AI directly into the property platform

28/08/2026 · 8 min read

Domus Inventum has launched its MCP server, giving buyers, agents, agencies and developers a new way to connect compatible AI assistants directly to the platform.

AI is changing how people search for information, make decisions and increasingly how they interact with digital services. Property should be no different.

Today, we are taking another step towards our goal of making Domus Inventum a fully AI-native property platform with the public launch of our Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

The MCP connection is now available directly from user dashboards, with dedicated connection instructions and full documentation available through Help & Docs.

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI applications to interact with external services in a structured and controlled way.

In simple terms, it means an AI assistant can do more than talk about Domus Inventum.

It can actually interact with Domus Inventum.

Instead of copying a property URL into an AI assistant, for example, a connected AI can search Domus Inventum's property inventory, retrieve property information and, where authorised, take actions on behalf of an authenticated user.

That distinction is important, as we don't want Domus Inventum to simply be another website that AI can read.

We want it to become a platform that AI can use.

Connect your AI directly to Domus Inventum

MCP is now available through the Connections section of Domus Inventum dashboards.

For buyers, Connections provides access to:

Connect your AI

For agents, agencies and developers, Connections includes:

Submit your feed and Connect your AI

This reflects an important distinction in the platform. Listing feeds are designed for property professionals to bring inventory into Domus Inventum.

MCP is different. MCP is for everyone.

A buyer can connect an AI assistant to help discover and interact with property. A professional account can connect AI to their Domus Inventum account, with professional capabilities evolving over time. The available capabilities are controlled according to the user's account and permissions.

What can you do with the Domus Inventum MCP?

The initial MCP capability set focuses on the fundamentals of discovering and interacting with property.

Connected AI applications can access capabilities including:

  • Search Domus Inventum property listings

  • Retrieve individual property details

  • Discover new-build properties

  • Find developments

  • Search property professionals

  • Resolve properties from their Domus Inventum URL, public identifier or other supported identifiers

  • Submit property enquiries

  • Create a Domus Inventum account where appropriate

The result is a much more natural way of interacting with a property platform. A buyer might ask an AI assistant to find suitable properties, investigate individual listings and then contact an agent about one of them. The AI doesn't need to scrape the website or guess how Domus Inventum works. It simply uses the Domus Inventum MCP interface.

Built for buyers as well as property professionals

It would be easy to think of MCP as a tool for agents and developers, but we don't. The buyer is arguably the most important user of an AI-enabled property platform.

Property search is inherently conversational. A buyer rarely thinks entirely in database fields. They might say:

"Find me something contemporary around Marbella, three bedrooms, with sea views, but I don't want to be too far from the coast."

An AI assistant is particularly well suited to understanding that kind of request. MCP provides the bridge between that conversation and the structured property inventory held by Domus Inventum.

For professionals, the opportunity is different.

Over time, MCP will allow agents, agencies and developers to use AI not only to discover properties, but to work with their own inventory. That means capabilities such as adding listings, updating properties, uploading images and managing listing information can become part of the MCP roadmap.

This is only the beginning

We deliberately built the MCP as a capability layer, rather than attempting to launch every possible function at once. More capabilities will be added over time.

The roadmap includes expanding MCP into areas such as:

  • Saved searches

  • Favourites

  • Holiday rental discovery

  • Branded residences

  • Listing creation

  • Listing management

  • Image uploads and management

  • Additional professional workflows

  • Further authenticated buyer actions

The principle is straightforward:

If a user can legitimately do something on Domus Inventum, there is a growing opportunity for an authorised AI agent to be able to do it too.

Of course, that does not mean unlimited access. MCP connections are authenticated and rate-limited, with permissions governing what a connected AI application can access and do.

Why we are building Domus Inventum this way

The launch of our updated MCP is part of a much larger direction for Domus Inventum. We are building the platform around three complementary layers:

Property intelligence
Understanding the properties themselves, their characteristics, quality, imagery and context.

Oraculum
The intelligence and automation layer that allows Domus Inventum to reason, operate and increasingly act.

MCP
The interface that allows external AI applications and agents to interact with Domus Inventum.

Together, these move the platform beyond the traditional model of Search → click → form → enquiry towards something much more conversational and intelligent: Ask → discover → understand → act.

And importantly, the same underlying platform can serve both sides of the market.

Buyers can use AI to find property. Professionals can eventually use AI to manage property.

Domus Inventum sits between the two.

How do I connect an AI assistant to Domus Inventum?

The process starts in your Domus Inventum dashboard.

Go to Connections → Connect your AI

You'll find the relevant connection instructions there, along with links to the full MCP documentation.

Because different AI platforms implement MCP connections differently, we have provided platform-specific guidance rather than expecting users to work through technical documentation themselves.

For developers and technically minded users, the full MCP documentation also provides information about the available capabilities, authentication, permissions and integration requirements.

What happens next?

Launching the MCP server is not the end of the project. It is the beginning of a new interface to Domus Inventum. We expect the capability set to grow considerably over the coming months.

Our objective for the remainder of 2026 is to complete the core MCP capability layer alongside the continued development of Oraculum's autonomous workers and Master Property, our property intelligence infrastructure.

In 2027, our focus moves towards the Domus Inventum mobile application and Project Corvus, extending the platform's identity, verification and trust infrastructure.

The common thread through all of this is the same. Domus Inventum is being built for a world in which property search, property data, identity and transactions increasingly interact with AI.

The MCP server is one of the foundations that makes that possible.
